FDAS Dahlia was the first Friesian Appaloosa baby born to Mandy and Brody, in 2007.  Her color changed drastically by the time she was 3 years old.  Dahlia had a very interesting story. She was placed in pasture with several mares and a Fewspot Appaloosa Stallion for nearly two years.  She never bred, in fact she took the role of head mare and managed the heard as such.  It was puzzling, as Dahlia never bred.  Was she genetically confused?  Evidently not! In October 2011 fences were breached and our two stallions crossed over each others territory, it was a sight to behold.  Within hours, Brody, our Friesian Stallion - Dahlia's Sire, was covering her.  We were shocked to say the least.  This accidental encounter produced FDAS Confetti - aka Patton. 

We were very sad to hear of her passing in 2014.
